Former World Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield to visit Toombs Co.
VIDALIA, GA (WTOC) - A grand opening celebration for the new Toombs County Boys and Girls Club building will take place Jan. 14.
The event is set to begin at 4 p.m. Former World Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield will be in attendance at the event. Photo opportunities with the champ will be offered from 6 until 8 p.m. at Canape Restaurant at 115 Southeast Main St., for those who donate $100 or more to the Boys and Girls Club.
The new Boys and Girls facility is located at 707 East Third Street in Vidalia.
